The 10 steps to becoming an Archadeck franchisee
When you request an information package, you enter the 10-step process of our business opportunity evaluation:
Step 1: Request initial information
We review your request to see if we have a potential match. If we do, we mail you an information package explaining the Archadeck franchise opportunity.
Step 2: Review the information package
The information package gives you an overview of our operating systems, a typical day in the life of a franchisee, and a list of the products we build. After you review the package, you can call or e-mail us to answer any questions you may have.
Step 3: Complete the Request for Consideration Form (RFC)
The RFC gives us a more in-depth view of your work history and financial information. If you are a good match for us, we will send you a Discovery Workbook. This gives more detailed information about us and our industry.
Step 4: Review the Discovery Workbook and call us
We answer any new questions you may have and provide you with a password that allows you to speak with our franchisees.
Step 5: Contact franchisees
Now you contact existing Archadeck franchisees for firsthand information on things such as the earning potential of our business and what is it like working with us as a franchisor.
Step 6: Schedule and attend a Discovery Day
You spend a day with us in Richmond, Virginia, at our international headquarters. The day is devoted to answering your questions. You spend 45-60 minutes with each of our managers and key employees, reviewing each part of our operating system. At the end of the day we review the Uniform Franchise Offering Circular with you and the details of a potential territory. Then you return home to think about it.
Step 7: Review the Offering Circular with your advisers
It's important that you feel comfortable doing business with us. Therefore we suggest that you review the agreement with a franchise attorney.
Step 8: Finalize your territory and paperwork
When you decide to join the Archadeck team, we work closely with you to finalize your territory and complete your paperwork.
Step 9: Attend our training program in Richmond
We offer six franchisee-training courses a year. After signing your paperwork, we enroll you in the class that best suits your schedule. The four-week course (Monday to Friday) is held in Richmond, Virginia, at our training center. During these four weeks we cover all of our operating systems and prepare you to open your business.
Step 10: Open your office and take advantage of our field training
After completing training you head home and start your business. We continue to provide training by phone and the Internet, plus nine days of field training in your office.
